Let’s get this started…

I have been dreaming of starting a blog and missions newsletter for quite some time now. As a writer and editor, I spend most of my days ghostwriting for clients and crafting stories that bring their experiences to life. But as I stepped into 2025, I made a decision—to stop waiting and finally launch this platform. No more delaying. No more overthinking. It was time to pursue the dreams God placed in my heart.

I have traveled to many countries, communed with diverse people and cultures, and lived in remote regions for months on end. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that the life my soul was made for begins where my comfort ends.

Saying “no” to the traditional 9-to-5 way of life is easier said than done. Anyone who claims they don’t desire independence and security is lying to you. But the gag is, true security isn’t found in self-sufficiency—it’s found in trusting the Lord. Everything we need—wealth, opportunities, provision, and purpose—flows from Him. He owns it all. And the truth is, we were never meant to walk this life relying solely on ourselves; we were created to be dependent on Him. That lesson isn’t always easy to learn. In fact, I believe life has a way of teaching us the same truth over and over again, just in different seasons and with different weight.

For me, I’ve made a conscious choice: to keep leaping off the edge of self-preservation and into radical trust. Not at my word, but at His word. I’ve surrendered my own plans, desires, and comfort to follow wherever the Lord leads. I stopped serving my preferences and started fixing my eyes on Him. I lost my life in Christ and preserved it.

I’ve come to learn that temporary satisfaction is nothing compared to following Jesus, which is my eternal gain. He is my life’s greatest reward.

As we get this blog started, I hope you follow along with me as I follow Christ. There are countless stories from the mission field I can’t wait to share with you—stories of faith, adventure, and the incredible ways God moves in the lives of His people

So let’s do this. Let’s talk, grow, and embrace the adventure together!
